本试剂盒采用改良的碱裂解法裂解大肠杆菌细胞，利用硅胶膜离心柱特异地吸附DNA，适用于从≤ 20 ml LB培养基培养的大肠杆菌细胞中高效地提取质粒DNA，最大提取量可达40 μg 。溶液包含指示剂，通过颜色的变化，指示裂解、中和是否完全，从而保证质粒提取的质量，实现操作的可视化。提取的质粒DNA适用于酶切、连接、转化、测序等实验。
