本试剂盒适用于从培养的动物细胞、组织和大肠杆菌中快速提取总RNA。样品被异硫氰酸胍裂解，DNA被DNase I消化，RNA与硅胶膜离心柱特异地结合。提取的总RNA纯度高，没有DNA和蛋白质污染，可用于RT-PCR、qRT-PCR、芯片分析、Northern blot等实验。
