Trans BL21化学感受态细胞采用进口菌株，经特殊工艺制作，可用于DNA的化学转化。细胞具有四环素(TetR)抗性。使用pUC19质粒检测，转化效率可达107 cfu/μg DNA。使用Control Plasmid II (Amp+)用于检测细胞是否具有表达功能，表达蛋白大小为26 kDa。
