TransDB3.1化学感受态细胞经特殊工艺制作，可用于DNA的化学转化。该细胞含有gyrA462基因，对ccdB基因产物的毒性具有抵抗作用，适用于转化和扩增包含ccdB基因的质粒载体。使用 pUC19 质粒DNA检测，转化效率高达108 cfu/μg DNA以上。
