本产品由重组HindIII基因的载体，在大肠杆菌中经诱导表达、纯化而成。其分子量大小为35.8 kDa。识别位点为：A^AGCTT。反应温度为37℃，热失活条件为80℃加热20分钟。对dam，dcm和哺乳动物DNA的CpG甲基化不敏感。
